What is Coastal Elegance Attire?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Think airy fabrics with a festive, elevated twist. Ladies - colorful & printed midi/full-length dresses or elegant pantsuits are perfect. Guys - linen or cotton slacks with a button down/polo shirt or a lightweight, classic suit are right on track.

How long does it take to get to Jekyll Island from St. Simon's Island?
Plan on at least 45 minutes to go from island to island. Traffic is heavy on the weekends. There is a $10 access fee to get on to Jekyll Island.
Ceremony & reception will be outdoors. Will there be a Plan B in case of inclement weather?
Although we are hoping for beautiful weather, we have a backup plan in the event that it rains. We aren't going to let a little rain dampen our fun!
Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venues?
We are currently exploring options for shuttle services or coordinating rideshare groups for your convenience. More information about transportation will be shared closer to the wedding date, so please stay tuned for updates.
Have you reserved room blocks at one or more hotels?
We have a group of rooms blocked at Sea Palms Resort, which is 9 minutes from the reception venue. This resort has a golf course, beautiful views of the marsh and a restaurant and bar on site. They offer a free shuttle throughout the island until 9:00pm.
We also have room blocks at Hampton Inn, which is 12 minutes from the reception venue. This hotel is central to Pier Village & the Lighthouse.

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?
Ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 pm. We ask that guests start to arrive at the ceremony no later than 3:30 to allow time for parking and are seated no later than 3:50pm. We want to make sure everyone is settled in before we say,
"I DO!"
We have arranged two times for private historic house tours if you want to arrive on Jekyll Island earlier & enjoy some of its beautiful treasures.
What's this about a historical house tour on Jekyll Island?
There will be a private Jekyll Island historic house tour available to guests prior to the wedding. It will start promptly at 2:30pm. You NEED to arrive early AND allow time to park. You will travel back in time to the gilded age & wander the grounds where some of the world's most influential people once vacationed. Meet at Indian Mound Cottage across from the Jekyll Island Club Hotel.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We respectfully request that guests do not have their phones out during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer, who will be capturing our special moment, and we do not want phones in our photos. We invite you to relax, enjoy the moment and we'll gladly share these images after the celebration.
Can I bring my kids?
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We hope you understand our decision to make the wedding kid-free and take this opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate in style!
Can I bring a friend?
We are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation.
Can I post wedding pics on social media?
Please keep your snaps under wraps until we have shared our photos first.
What is the weather like in the Golden Isles in April?
Spring offers comfortable weather with highs in the mid 70's and evening lows in the low 60's. April is an ideal time for seaside activities and soaking up the sun's rays.
When is the deadline for RSVP's?
Please RSVP at least 45 days before the wedding which is February 26, 2025.
What if I forget to RSVP?
If you do not RSVP by the deadline, you will unfortunately not be able to attend the wedding. To avoid missing out on all the fun, please make sure to RSVP by the date listed on your invitation.
What should I do in the event I am no longer able to attend?
We completely understand things happen. Please let us know as soon as your plans change so we can make the necessary updates with our catering team.
